Make Your Cut Flowers Last Longer:
- Buy local, freshly harvested flowers.
- Take a photo to remember each bouquet
- Do not leave flowers in a hot car, direct sunlight or a draft.
- Use a clean vase. Check water level daily, top off as needed.
- Change water completely every 2-3 days.
- Cut 1/2″ – 1″ off the stems at water changes
- Remove any leaves below the water line
- Remove wilting flowers and leaves
- Consider putting your flowers in the fridge each night
